Hello! Let me introduce myself. My name is Xandra de Bruin, and I graduated as a veterinary assistant in 2020. I love being busy and active. Working in the practice is one of the best places to be because no day is ever the same. During my internships, I ended up at Dierenkliniek de Pijp, and after graduating, I’m happy to say I stayed!

During my training, I gained experience in many different practices and even went to Spain for 5 weeks to help out at an animal shelter.

Although I don’t (yet) have any pets myself, my interest has always been with animals. It’s really enjoyable to work with them. The interaction with the owners is also what makes me look forward to going to work every day.

When the workday is over, I swap my spot behind the counter for my spot behind the easel to get creatively busy!
