We have separate admission areas for cats and dogs to minimize stress for the cats. The rodents are placed in the dogs admission area, as they are also not particularly fond of cats. Both areas are equipped with spacious enclosures that include built-in heating, ensuring that your pet stays nice and warm.
The admission area is fully equipped with all necessary comforts. We use infusion pumps when your pet requires an IV, allowing us to precisely regulate the amount of fluid administered and the time frame. Additionally, we have an oxygen generator and oxygen chamber for animals experiencing difficulty breathing, as well as a thermostat to individually control the temperature of the enclosure heating.
The admitted animals are examined twice a day, and the treatment plan is adjusted accordingly if necessary, naturally in consultation with you as the owner. In addition to medical care (medication, IV fluids, force-feeding), we consciously ensure that all admitted animals also receive the necessary TLC (tender, love & care).
This is extremely important for sick animals; a cuddle or some personal attention can significantly speed up their recovery. For this reason, we always encourage you to visit. In principle, this is possible every weekday; however, please consult with the assistant to determine the most suitable time.
